This is session three of ten in our evaluation essentials training programme. The programme has been designed so you can attend the whole series or just the parts you feel are most relevant to you. Further information about the programme can be found here.
Whether you’re managing a large-scale project or a small intervention, this session will guide you through the critical planning stage. You will learn how to move from your Theory of Change to a practical and structured evaluation plan, ensuring you collect the right data to answer your most important questions.

We will cover everything from defining clear evaluation questions to choosing the most appropriate methodologies and planning for data collection. You'll also learn how to prepare a structured plan using templates and how to anticipate and understand potential risks to delivery.
