I specialise in descriptive, theoretical and comparative-typological approaches to grammar. My research focuses on the grammatical description and analysis of west African languages, including Cameroon Pidgin English. I have supervised »ÆÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ research degrees on the syntax of Cameroon Pidgin English, English, Farsi, Gulf Pidgin Arabic, Kenyang (Cameroon), Korean, Kuwaiti Arabic, Mada (Nigeria) and Setswana.
