About Arts Piazza

Arts Piazza is the University’s specialist coffee outlet, with a focus on barista-quality hot drinks, fresh grab and go and sweet treats.

In the morning you’ll find freshly made filled breakfast croissants and muffins, and throughout the day there’s a range of toasties and paninis ready to be heated up and served to eat in or take away. You’ll also find packaged sandwiches, salads, crisps, bakery items and meal deals.

The café is partners with  – a specialty roastery on a mission to create a better world. Their model ensures 65% of the revenue from the coffee beans we purchase goes directly to support a local cause of our choice. Their beans are sourced through a directly traded model, ensuring farmers are paid above Fairtrade prices, while supporting sustainable and regenerative farming practices. The returnable cup scheme is available for purchase and use in this café. 

You’ll always find a mix of students, staff and visitors relaxing in between their work. A great place to take a break or catch up with friends.

Inside

The cafe has tables and benches next to full-height windows, with a long counter displaying food options.

It is an informal setting with a steady turnover of people visiting for takeaway food and drink.

Outside

There are a few fixed metal tables and benches outside the cafe next to the Arts A lecture theatre. This seating is generally in dappled shade from neighbouring trees throughout the day.
